Hi,

I've had Avid MC for a long time, though now needing to learn Premier Pro.  I often use a Creative Labs soundcard plugged into my laptop, and whenever plugged in, whether oridinarily playing videos or music, or else editing in Avid, without me needing to know anything further the audio outputs via the soundcard into my Denon amplifier, and thus there is audio playing via external loudspeakers.  However, when editing with Premier Pro the audio is outputting via my laptop's own speaker (actually, it's worse, outputting via my extension screen's very poor speakers), and I wondered where to go to correct this.  Please note, I do not wish to alter the automatic settings, whereby in all other situations my laptop detects the sound card and thus outputs here.  Please advise, DC
