Audio playback from a clip not on the timeline.

One clip on my sequence is playing back audio from another clip from another project not on the sequence.  Rebooting fixed but this has happened twice in one day.

by any chance was the source material recorded with a screen recording program or a smart phone?  If so...  
use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate

No the clip was recorded with a Panasonic cam in AVCHD 1080P.  No problems until I updated to CC.  The clip plays normally in my raw footage folder!
