Bug: When going to shift+end of a clip and pasting a .mxf format end frames are cut off of the clip

This appears only to happen with DNxHR (.mxf container). It appears as though .mp4 files work correctly.

When I take a clip and shift+end to get to the end then paste another clip a frame off the end of the initial clip are cut off. If you're trying to loop a clip for example the end will have a stutter from the clipped frame. You can see that this happened graphically too because the triangular handle indicating the end of the clip disappears. This does not happen with .mp4.

This happens with 14.3.1 Build 45 on Windows 10. I do not believe it happened on versions prior but I'm not sure.

do the sequence settings match exactly the same settings of the DNxHR footage?

try to drag it from the project panel to the new item icon. Pay attention to frame rate

That function ... 'go to selected clip end' ... takes you to the last frame of the clip. In other words, the CTI/playhead is in front of the last frame. If you paste something there, you replace that last frame. This would be expected behavior, and is not a bug in any way, shape, or form.

Simply hitting the down-arrow key takes you to the start of the next clip ... or the blank space one frame after the current clip.

The latter ... the down-arrow ... is the step you want to take.
