depending how you have your keyboard set up.  If the command exists in a menu and there's a shortcut key assigned, it'll be in the menu next to the command.

The J, K, and L keys can be used to play, fast forward and rewind. The more times you click the L key the faster it plays. The more times you hit the J key the faster it rewinds.
