C++ Premiere Pro plugin Export Controller greyed out

I'm writing a new Export Controller. How do I ungrey it? - Just taking the sample project it loads through Premiere Pro, but is always greyed out in the menu.

There used to be forums for SDK information, but no longer... I suggest you go to Google and enter

A sequence needs to be active, before export controllers will be enabled.
