I am trying to export my video and with around a minute left it fails and pops up with an error 3 code. I am not sure how to fix this problem.
Export settings are:
Format: H.264
Preset: Youtube 1080p Full HD
you've got to change the preview file format to quicktime and then prores will be available.

don't know anything about error code 3. You might do some googling. but we need more information if we're going to be able to help. Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your source properties and sequence settings. Since it almost completes it could be that there's not enough room on your target drive or that there's a problem near the end of your sequence...This might help narrow down the problem. Do a "smart render." Go in to your sequence settings and change the preview format to a high quality "all iframe format" like prores 422 (or prores422 hq if you want to make sure you've got the best possible quality) and render the entire sequence. Easiest way to do this is to make sure there are no ins or outs in your timeline and go to sequence: render in to out. If Premiere renders everything and it plays back properly, redo your export with "use previews" enabled. Post back and let us know how it goes.

I went in to the requence settings and for the Vide Previews and File Format, the only I-Frame option says "I-Frame Only MPEG" nothing about Prores. I could see something about Prores in the editing mode, I could change it to Prores RAW.

Try to render the sequence in Media Encoder, sometimes I get render errors in Premiere, but the same project renders perfectly in ME
