Can I use a Premiere project v6.5 in Premiere Pro?

About 15 years ago started with a Pinnacle DV500 installation on Windows XP with Premiere v6.5. Worked fine, created lot of projects and burned on DVD. Lot of thos projects still available, but.... the old XP machine with the Premiere installation is gone. Tried to import some old projects but nothing seems to work.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible, converting a old projectfile to a new Premiere Pro project or is it a waste of time.

Realy hope some is possible.

MIght work If you convert with an earlier CS version first (ppj > prproj)

But imo waist of time.
