Can't change text style of motion graphics

Hi! I have been making motion graphics with the essential graphics panel in After Effects and had never experienced any issue with changing the text styles of my motion graphics up until an hour ago. I exported a few mogrts which worked fine but about an hour ago, I can no longer export mogrts with the change text style option. Here are some screenshots to show my issue.

In After Effects:

In Premiere Pro:

(The text style part just becomes a textbox)

Thank you!

HI there,

Very odd issue. Can you list the versions of the two applications that you have installed?

Okay thanks for the info. Those versions do match so that's good.

Not sure if this has anything to do with the M1 or not, but have you tried updating to the latest versions of Premiere and After Effects in the 2021 release? You can have that installed next to your current versions to test them out. Note that full M1 support is currently in the Beta release if you want to try that instead; support for M1 should be fully implemented in the shipping release soon.

Thank you so much for your reply! I will definitely check out the newer
releases. But for this project since my client is using the version of
Premiere Pro stated before, I must stick to these versions. By the way,
after multiple tests, I found that some of the projects work fine but some
don't, not sure why.

Thanks anyways!

Hi @liukatkatkat

That is really weird! I don't think that I've seen that before. Would you mind sharing the Mogrt that you're seeing this issue with so we can try and repro in-house and get a bug filed?

Thanks so much!
