Can't Escape From Icon View in Project Panel!

I made the mistake of entering Icon View in the project panel. Now, every time I open the project it's always in Icon View. I've selected List View and saved the project, but when I open it again, it's back in Icon View. I've changed to List View and saved the project and the workspace, but when I open the project again, yep... back in Icon View.

How do I get back to it defaulting to List View?

I would try to go to Windows > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout.

Nope. Doesn't help.

If I create a new project, it starts in List View. If I open the project above, it opens in Icon View. Nothing I can do to change it to open in List View.

I have not.
New projects stay in List View, unless changed.
How do I trash the preferences?

Reset the workspace, then dump the cache files, reboot. See if dumping the cache helps.

Open PP, turn off Windows/Workspaces/Import workspace from project.

Worth a try...

It seems to be that one project, not a PP-wide issue. I created a junk project, set it to Icon View, saved it, closed and re-opened PP, and after setting it back to List View, Saving, Closing, Re-opening the project, it stayed in List View as it should. The other project stays in Icon View whenever I open the project.

That worked!

I wonder what that means? Something got screwed up in the project file?
