When I try to use Media Encoder to render/export a clip, Media Encoder loads initially. Then, when I click on the 'Output Name' to identify the filename and location, nothing comes up on screen and the program is then completely locked. However, Task Manager shows that the program is not technically locked. But clicking anywhere on the Media Encoder screen just results in a warning tone and Media Encoder cannot be closed normally. The trouble is that for whatever reason, I can't see the screen that allows me to choose the file location and identify the filename. If I force quit the program and come back in, when I do the export/render immediately before working on the timeline, it allows me to export ok.
This is SUPER frustrating. I've been using Premiere for YEARS and never had an issue with exporting using Media Encoder. But this issue is happening EVERY time I work on something and want to export. I'll now have to work on the project, close Premiere, load Premiere, load the project, and THEN finally export -- EVERY TIME!!! This is such a time waster.
Any thoughts???
