I am trying to import multiple jpegs into a project. On my computer these are all very different imges. When I import them, they all turn into the same image. How can I get them each into my project?
Open the jpegs in Photoshop and save them as psd. Then import into Premiere Pro.

Just tried it and unfortunately I'm still having the same issue. (Good idea
though- I should have thought of that!)

Why [edited by moderator] did they change this? This makes absolutely NO sense. Is this a Bug = Feature situation? So freaking annoying.

Ok, I just tried doing this, and the error message when importing the PSDs is "The importer reported a generic error." When I try importing the jpg's, the error is " The video bit depth of this file is unsupported." Really Adobe? You don't support a freaking JPEG????????!!!
This is in Pr Pro 2021.

Yes, this obviously works, but it's just non-sense of a workflow, that we need to add an extra step.

try opening the picture with paint then save it, still needs extra work but still faster than photoshop 🙂

How is this an issue after upgrading to PP 2021 v15.4. Never had this issue for 5 years, upgrade to 15.4 and this. This is so frsutrating to not easily be able to import clients logo for my work. Adobe is fantastic but has so many ridiculous issues like this its becoming very frustrating as a business owner to use.

Just redownloaded the app. The fact that my images aren't visable and i need to cross all this red tape to import them is a joke. I'm going 2 try for another ten minutes, if not uninstal time.

Easier solution: download ImageOptim (on Mac, don't know about a Windows alternative), drag and drop the files in there, import the new ones. Looks like this bug has something to do with the image metadata.

Open the images on Photoshop and save them as JPEG with JPEG options format of Baseline "standard"
