I am using a Macbook Pro 2019 with 16gb of RAM. I have no problem limporting .mov files (from iPhone) but cannot load .mp4 files from GoPro Hero. What makes this more frustrating is this wasn't an issue just a couple of days ago. I created a sequence containing both formats without fuss but now when I try to open it I am told the .mp4 files use 'unsupported compression'. Is there a way to fix this?
Does not matter is the gopro is old.
I still have the Hero 3.
Make new project and import old one. See how that goes.
You are on a mac so Prores seems more obvious then Cineform.

Thanks
I have tried these options and neither worked. The GoPro is quite old and I'm a beginner so have no idea how to convert to Cineform. I don't uderstand how I was able to import the files without a problem the one day and them not work at all the next. This is the very first project I have created in Premiere Pro.

Bende de benzer sorun var. Videoların formatını değiştirdim yine düzelmedi sorun. Anlamıyorum açıkcası.
