Can't open old project (2019) in Premiere Pro 2021

Hello, I have just downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 but I am not able to open a project I was working on in Premiere Pro 2019. When I open the file, while the software tries to locate the media file and I can see the dashboard taking its shape...it shuts down. I have tried several times, with different project files...the outcome is always the same. I appreciate your advice.

Clean the Media Cache and then try opening a new project and import the old one into it.
