Can't redirect/assign audio channel

Premiere Pro 14.3

Hi all, I need help figuring why the audio channel (from dailies) is stuck on the 5th audio channel on my timeline. It doesn’t let me redirect/assign/drag the audio channel to a different channel. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the + sign.

Thank you!

It wouldn’t let me click on the +.

It ended up being audio settings. Stereo vs Mono.

Modify -->  audio channels.
