Hey adobe guys, listen, my job is to produce videos, sometimes in an urgent manner. I've spent hours trying to get this thing to render. It just stops, I tried so many things, man. It didn't even want to let me uninstall saying something about media encoder which wasn't even open in the background. These short videos are due tomorrow and I don't know how to get them out of my computer. Is there a way to at least get some audio visuals out of this by maybe using OBS? That's how desperate this is, this is my job. I was one of those vouching for premiere when my friends were switching to Resolve.

ya know, we're going to need some info if we're going to be able to help.

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your source properties and sequence settings.

Windows 10 x64
Premiere Peo 14.7 (Downgraded from 14.8 to see if it would fix, it didn't)
32G RAM
Ryzen9 (12 core)
Quadro P600 GPU

Sequence is 720 at 24fps

Always renders a bit and then freezes

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it. I'm currently rendering using
software only. Seems to be going fine so far.

Did you try both direct export and export through the Adobe Media Encoder queue?

If NVIDIA, try updating with a clean install of the latest NVIDIA Studio Driver.

If that doesn't work:

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-clear-your-media-cache-in-30-seconds-in-premi...

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/...

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Yeah, I did try media encoder. I uninstalled media encoder because it didn't want to let me downgrade to an older version. I re-installed and I'm rendering using the software now. Not the quickest, but I can't be fussy now.

Install the NVIDIA Studio driver, not the gamer driver (as Bob suggests) when you have a moment, Ethan. That should help you.

Sincerely,
Kevin
