Everuthing was fine yesterday but I'm guessing I've broken somehtingh. I can no longe drag clips to the timeline, unless right click them and create new sequence. But then I can't move, trim or do anything to them. This applies to my projects. Please help!
Well rolling back made no difference and so I bit the bullet and restored an image of Windows from last week. Made sure all Adobe apps were up to date and all is working perfectly. What a faff!

Thank you for the detailed reply Bob, but none of those have worked. I worked through them in turn but nothing has changed. However I have noticed that the problm extends to elsewhere. After resetting my preferences I tried to edit my workspaces, and I can't even drag the ones I don't require to the hidden menu??? As requested I have detailed my system below.
Windows 10 Home x64 Edition 10.019042.
Premiere Pro 2020 14.6.0 (Build 51)
Regards,
Jon

I am guessing your underpowered machine is having a hard time handling 14.6.0.

If I was having problems encoding then I'd be inclined to agree, but just dragging something from one place to another?
However I will rollback to the previous version and see.
