Trying to edit the speed with keyframes in the effects control panel.

Photo A When I right click on the keyframe in the 'Effects Controls' panel, the options to change the keyframe type, I want to select "Continuous Bezier", the options are greyed out. How do I reactivate them?

Photo B When I click the little stopwatch icon to the left of 'Speed', it says it will delete all of the keyframes in warning message, but if I accept, it actually deletes the clip off of the timeline which is super annoying. What is going on here?

Thanks for the help.

1st question you might want to switch it to linear and then change it to continuous before.

2nd question is weird. You may want to reset preferences.
To do this:

Close Premiere

On Mac hold down command/option/shift and then let your system make changes.

Same procedure on Windows except hold down shift/control/alt.
