CANT IMPORT MTS FILES

Hi everyone i have a problem, i cant import files like MTS, Mp4 premiere indicates that the file is broken or the kind of file is not supported and i cant find a solution, i have Premiere Pro CC 2017 in trial version, im testing it because i use Sony Vegas Pro and i want to learn to use Premiere, anyone have a solution to this problem?

I have the same problem, followed every steps of that procedure, did not change a thing. The odd thing is only certain files will not import, the only way I can get the work done is to use MOVAVI VIDEO converter and convert the file to MP4, since Adobe Encoder is of no help either. This happened with my Sony A7S II and my Nex FS100.
