PLEASE I NEED HELP.

I can import one 4k video clip fine, I can drag along the timeline, split it up and move it around. As soon as i put another video clip in the projecto folder, the tool box greys out, i click on the cut/splice button and it changes to it, but the toolbox still remains greyed out.

I am unable to drag along the timeline either and it wont allow me to select other clips on the timeline.

as soon as I remove the other video file, it works fine.

Things I have done! 1) Updated to latest version! 2) Uninstalled and re-installed program. 3) installed premiere pro on a different ssd hard drive! 4) Uninstalled VLC Media player because it was installed on the same day this problem occured.

Thanks

What is your computer? OS/CPU/RAM/GPU?

The last bit indicates that perhaps during the installation of VLC the computer messed up some of the video items. So it may be necessary to uninstall/reinstall Premiere.
