Captions - can't edit In - Out timing

Hi all

I'm trying to add captions to my video, for the first time. I'm trying to follow the guidelines but... I am not sure if I know what I'm doing anymore 😉

Video lenght: 00:02:41

Frame rate 29.97

Caption file .srt or .txt

When I type captions, one after one, and try to edit the In and Out it constatly changes to other numbers. 

Please help, I'm desperate!

Your first cap is 1 second long. The second and third are both 1 frame.

Try changing the length on the timeline.

Please clarify your workflow.

You imported the .txt file? What are you doing with it?

You created the 608 caption stream in PR? And are adding captions to it manually?

How are you trying to set/change the times? You can enter them in the Caption Panel, drag the times in the Caption Panel, or adjust the captions in the timeline.
