I have the adobe subscription for photoshop but I do not have premier. I am looking for a way to convert from VHS to digital. I have the RGB -> USB convertor. Can I use any of the adobe software to read from the VCR via the USB convertor ?

I know abobe lightroom allows some video editing but I had never used it

Thanks

I do not know of any program to capture video using a USB connection... only Firewire

I use a Grass Valley ADVC 110 external digital converter... which I don't think is sold now, but you may find one on ebay

never heard of an rbg to usb converter.

If you're on a pc, here are some options

https://windowsreport.com/vhs-converters-windows-pc/

Maybe some of these are mac compatible.

If you want something on a more professional level and your machine has usb3, I'd go with the blackmagic intensity shuttle...

I realize this post is from almost a year ago.

I have a Dell XPS 8940 Desktop with an NVidia GeForce 1650 Super in it.

Will the Blackmagic Design Intenstiy Pro 4K work from Premiere Pro 2021?

Thanks for any help.

My old crappy USB 2.0 media converter died.

just be aware that if I understand correctly, apple has disabled the ability to capture video thru firewire in the last couple of OS's.    If you're on a pc, it's not a problem.  On a mac, be sure and check compatibility with your hardware and OS before spending any money.
