CEP: API to syncronize trackItems

Hello,

is there a method to sync several projectItems (by audio, timecode etc.) like the sync window does?

The Premiere Pro Scripting guide doesn't mention any. 

If not, why is this not visible to the API?

Great idea, but no, as you've (not) found, there's nothing in the API to allow for syncronization.

So I can either make a feature request, or rebuild this feature?

Well, I hope multicam/multisource workflow similar to DaVinci Resolve will be added in the near future. This would solve a lot of headaches. 🙃
