Cfa and Pek files?

Hey guys,

I just bought a new SSD for media cache files, however in preferences I've noticed an option to switch on/off  "Save cfa and pek media cache files next to original media files when possible"

My question is, should I switch this on? and If I do will it redirect cache files to my projects & footage volume instead of my new cache SSD?

Also as a side question, since I now have a 1TB SSD just for cache files, should I be setting my Maximum Disk Cache Size to around 900GB in After Effects?
