Hey,
Just wondering if its possible to change the dimensions of an adjustment layer?
I have a 1080p timeline but with a 4k adjustment layer, when scaled to frame it leaves a boarder top and bottom of Frame.
Is it possible to change the size of the layer?
Im using noise and other graphics, im guessing these are effected by scale?
If not can I just scale all adjustment layers to 110%
Cheers
Adjustment layer are not meant to be scaled.
If the AL is 4K and not UDH it is not 16:9 hence the border. An AL larger then the timeline will always scale down to fit.
Alas you cannot change the settings.
Make sure the AL is the same as the sequence.
Make a new AL 1920x1080 and copy effects over.

Premiere makes it fit.
1920x1080 is 16:9. 4096x2160 is not 16:9 hence the black bars.

Okay so there is no way to scale it?
I have over 100 adjustment layers...
Client originally wanted a 1:185 export but now wants 16:9?
If its not possible to change the ratio , will it effect the quality having it scaled up by 107 to fit the 16:9 image?

I dont think you will notice any difference if you set it to 107.

This is a good post. I was in same situation with my AL, needed it to go from 1080x1080 to 1920x1080. I just scaled up the AL to cover new 1920x1080 size. Bingo.
