Hi dear Adobe community,

I have a problem

with the format in the program window of Adobe Premiere.
My files are in 16:9. when I put them to the source window they show up in the original format. But in the program window and when I export the clip the format changes to 4:3!
I couldnt find an answer on google. I tried the auto reframe which didnt work and also I wanna know how I can permanently change the settings of the program window to 16:9.

Thanks so much for your help!
Marielle

or to be on the safe side.

Drag a clip from the project window into the New Item icon (bottom right corner).

Copy all clips over from the old sequence into this new one.
