Change SRT File length

I used Descript to do auto captions for a 9hr file that must have CC. Everything is fine except the fact that the SRT file is starting when they talk and not at the beginning of the video. I would ideally like to just add blank space to the beginning in Premiere and then re-export the SRT file. But for the life of me I cannot seem to to be able to add just blank space to the SRT file.
