I really need your help. I have been working on a few projects and I have run into a problem twice now that I can't figure out. I have searched online and called adobe customer service and nothing helps. It is very frustrating. I made a video project and everything was working just great and then all of the sudden one of the clips in the timeline froze. I tried to delete it and reimport it and it still wouldn't work. It plays the first 2 seconds and then freezes on that frame but the timeline continues to play and at the end of the clip the next clip starts back up successfully. I went to my hard drive and checked the video there and it looks like nothing is wrong as well as the other videos filmed at the same time work perfect. I opened up a new project thinking that might help but it seems that now when it is imported into premiere it won't work but it did work for the first 2 weeks I was working on this project. This particular video is from my Lumix S5 and shoot at 4K 30 frames per second ( I don't know if that makes a difference) but it happened on another project that was just from my iphone. I don't know why it keeps working at first and then just stops. I would really appreciate your help with this because I am at a loss.

Try doing a smart render. Change the preview format in your sequence settings to a high quality all I-frame format like prores422 hq and render the entire timeline. does it play now?
And as per your problem with another sequence, Iphones shoot with a variable frame rate which sucks...
use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate
https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate
https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake
