color correction lag

Hello, 

Im hoping someone can help, I have Adobe premiere pro 2020; using a mac, when trying to adjust the H,S, or L when sliding the bar there is a 2-3 minute delay in the adjustment for my picture. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening? It's hard to edit with this delay.
