Is it better to colorgrade before or after editining footage? I have footage from 3 cameras. Maybe the performance and export times would be faster if i colorgraded and exported the footage before editing it?

The "normal" workflow is to first edit, then perform a first color and luminance correction to the clips that are too different from the general temperature, after that you can apply an Adjustment Layer and perform a general colorization to all the clips in your Timeline without having to color each one. If you first color the clips, export them and reinsert them in the Timeline and then just edit them, you lose time and especially the quality of your clips due to unnecessary double compression.

Sure, your idea makes sense and it can be done, but you already know what can happen if you don't take extreme care of the procedure you mention.
