Converts to new premiere but vocal track is silent

Help! I keep losing the vocal track when the project converts to 2021, it is in the timeline but no audio????

Hi Nick,

This does not sound ideal. I understand you have opened an old project on the latest version of Premiere Pro but you're not getting the audio playback.

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.
