Premiere currently crashes every time I want to add a new video track to my edit. It does not matter on which way I add the new track. I'm working with Premiere 14.6.0 Build 51

It's solved.

I deleted

C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\14.0

folder.

Then software goes fine.

The current update fixes this error. Just tested by myself.

I've run into the same issue. It's crippling and extends project times by hours.

I am still having problems with Premiere Pro freezing when adding tracks to a project.  It is OK if I add the tracks before I do anything else, but if I have already worked on the project, it will consistently freeze whenever I add a new track.

Running latest Premiere Pro on MacPro

3,3 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon W

Same problem....also

_crash when monitor view is on Multicam an I cut between camera's of add edit. Not when program monitor is on composite video.

- Ripple delete of just delete between I and O in same program monitor situation....

and we're still trying to work with this....

I have same problem, when I add or delete track in timeline.

Premiere stops and has no responses.

There is a more surgical fix - rather than deleting the whole folder (and possibly all of your settings), you can just remove the ControlSurface subfolder under C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\14.0

Once I did that, I was able to begin adding tracks.  Seems related specifically to a bug with control services that are set up in the current version.
