so I've been spending a lot of time trying to figure it out......and now I've hit a snag cause I have NO idea how to use the old effects I knew.....
I've found most of them but I am haveing trouble finding the method to zoom in on my image without making the acual image larger; referencing the included video 1:58 to 2:03
From the makers of Until Dawn comes another story of horror and woe... and it's also unintentionally hilarious.MY COMFY CLOTHES ► https://cloakbrand.com/SUPP...

The speaker is on track 2.

The video is on track 1.

Keyframe the crop and motion properties for the speaker on track 2.

You can also nest the speaker and apply the crop.

Then keyframe the motion properties of the nest in the original sequence..

Bob is correct. The best way to get this done is to do your zoom, then nest the clip and do the crop on the nested clip (not in the nested clip, on it). Are you sure that's what you did?

You can use just the "crop" effect to get this done. Just apply it to your clip, and then crop where you need and zoom separate to that. I tried it and I believe it did what you were explaining you wanted.
