Hello, I am trying to revisit an old composition and I am having some confusion
I am trying to reconnect the media but the sizing does not work as the original composition for one video.
The video below the first one is the issue. When I go to import it, it puts it in another size..when I go to scale the video it looks very warped. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thank you!

FAQ: What do I do when I see diagonal lines on clips
You need to get everything back Online, then fix the rest.
As of now your timeline is a mess.

I am replacing the clips with new ones, all of them match the scaling except one. I have replaced the original and the same thing happens to the scaling. Is there a way to copy the paramaters of resizing only?

My timeline works for what I need, I just need to figure out why I can't get the sizing I originally had in place.

Is the repacement media exactly the same pixel dimentions and PAR as the original media?

Yes, and when I replace with the original the same thing happens as well. It does not do it for the rest of the videos, just the one under the first video in the compilation. Thanks

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.
If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean install of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).
If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

I am still running into one issue with my composition and was wondering if you could help/explain. I go to import a video and the video appears fine, when I apply a mask it puts black borders on after fully expanding the mask and cannot see the whole video. It does not do this to any of the other videos in the sequence. Do you know why it would do this? Pictures below show the issue. Thanks!

Turn off composite in linear color in the sequence settings.

Thank you for the reply! I tried that and did not seem to make a difference and still crops the video on the sides. I cannot figure out why it would do it to just that one video and not the others in my compolation.
I did start a new project and was able to import the video and apply a mask as normal and it worked fine, just does not seem to want to do so in this composition.
I tried to import the video on the same timeline farther down away from the other clips on the same project of the composition and it does the same thing with cropping the sides.
It is as if whenever I select a mask for just this video, it wants to crop the sides and can't figure out why.
Thank you for help!

Are you using the mask from the Crop effect?
If so don't, use opacity instead.

is there some kind of issue that pertains to certain renders of videos with particular codecs?
is this a bug? Or am I not seeing a setting for some reason associated with this clip that causes black bars on the side...that and as to use when I apply the mask it applies it small in the inside...like it is inverted? Maybe it is inverted somehow and I am not seeing it...
thanks

I cannot reproduce. Don't know if this is an issue within Premiere.
But if things do not work I delete from project and start over.
