does not load splash screen

Good afternoon I have the version of Premiere 14.9.0 Compilation 52, it does not load the welcome screen after an update

How about inside PP and you select FILE/Open Project? That opens the Welcome screen for me.

The very first preference (General) controls if the Home screen is opened.

I'm wondering if the welcome screen is off the available screen space? Are you running a laptop? What's your hardware?

Sorry! Maybe check General Preferences to make sure it is enabled. Is it?
