dynamic link greyed out

i cant use the dynamic link in either premier or after effects.

Both are the latest versions, just greyed out.

How can i fix this? Its pretty urgant

Exactly what version numbers of AME and Premiere and AE?

thanks, because you mentioned that i had to check
all have been updated, but kept the old versions, (which is weird)   after i uninstalled it seems to work ok
