I was suprised to see that after exporting my videos from PP 2020 they do not appear anymore on the actual application. Is that normal? How can I edit them? Is there something wrong or a way to revive them there.

If you want to automatically import your exported file there is a check box at the bottom of the export panel that will do this, I can't remember exactly what it is called but it is obvious.

Thanks but my question has to do about not being able to work on a video on the site after I have already exported it. For instance I may want to add to it or select part of it to put elsewhere. Not sure I am being clear.

Are you saying your timeline disappears after you have exported it?

Thanks for your reply. When I open the project I get a message saying many
of media is missing. I have cancelled that... maybe I should click
'locate'? The timeline is 'browned' out so I cannot see the links. Maybe
this is a simple fix? I include a screenshot of the message.

Mary,
You can't move or delete the source media from an on going project. Video editors only reference the source they don't contain it.
A possible best practice is to put your project and source media in a file or folder dedicated to the project.

Are you editing directly from the camera memory card?

Where are the video files stored, on an internal hard disc, an external hard disc or memory cards?
