Im new to P.Pro and would like to know if it is possible to edit a clip in P.Pro and save it in a separate folder.

Do all all edits have to be done in a time line? What Id like is to edit a few clips, save in a folder than import them back into the time line to export.

I hope I have made it clear as to what I want to do,,

thanks,.,

If I'm understanding your question correctly you could set your edit with in and out points in the Source Monitor, then go to the top of the interface/clip/make subclip.

That would place that edit in the project panel.  You would have to do this with each edit. You can name the subclips as you create them.

You can place the sub clips in folders in the project panel.
