Hi and thanks in advance for your time everyboday,

I have this rolling effect that looks just fine in the project. However, after rendering its different. I attached two clips that I took. Yep, recorded the screen with my phone 😛

I tried to render the workspace before rendering the project. I also tried to only render the subsequence which has the effect in it as well as the hole project with in/out points just before and after the effect appears.

Not really sure whats going on. Any ideas appreciated!

I fixed the issue by applying the effects not on a adjustment layer but straight onto the clip. Any idea why this is happening?

cheers

Hi Jana98BC,

Thanks for reaching out.

What's the name of the effect? Is it third-party? I couldn't preview the second attachment as it says "Virus scan in progress". Could you try re-attaching it?

Few things you can try that usually help with the export related issues.

  1. Clear the cache
  2. Change the renderer to Software Only

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hi,

the effect is called offset mixed with directional blur, both not third party. I also rendered it only with software and deleted the cache, same issues unfortunately.

The way effects are processed matters. Some effects aren't suited for use on an adjustment layer. It isn't "just another clip" sort of tool.
