effects notworking

good day to everyone, i need help with my premiere pro, adding effects in the video is okay but it wont work,, changing the lumetri color or doing crop, even just adding some blur won't change anything in the video, tried reinstalling and going back to older version still got the same problmem

Wild guess: If you have any nested audio in the timeline delete those, see how that goes.
