encoding stuck at 3-4%, please help!

I have been trying to export an almost 3 minutes long project and everytime I try to export the media it gets stuck at either 0%, 3%, or 4% and if I try to cancel it premiere freezes and eventually my entire PC hangs. I've tried making a new project twice, still the same results. Have worked on bigger projects before but I've never come across such an issue.

Is the hard drive full?

I have a 100gb left in the drive which has the project file and footage.

I was able to export it at 720 .avi format. The encoding stops when rendering at 1080. so far I've tried h.264 and HEVC at 1080 and they all had the same results.

my entire project is in 500gb nvme crucial P1. and currently it has a 180gb free space in it.

Make sure you have the latest Nvidia STUDIO driver installed, not the Game driver.
