Hi there,

Which version of Premiere Pro are you using? Also, please provide your system specifications (OS, CPU, GPU and RAM).

Thanks,

Sumeet

Anyone find a fix for this? Weirdly enough I don't get this error when editing off an external drive. Seems to only happen when working off of shared storage.

Ia ....

That sounds like an issue to do with the permissions or something on the drive. There are also issues when you have either non-appropriate characters in the full file-path/name for a clip, or if the file-path including full name of the clip gets over so many characters.

So ... if you rename one of those clips to only a few characters, does it import correctly and stay linked?

Mr, Hagen, I'm in need of your expertise dealing with possible issues on a Mac formatted drive having permission issues. My project file containing BRAW6K had been working for weeks but now when making final revisions, premiere is having issues loading files, and am able to copy files to another drive due to "data not able to be written or read" can you he;p? I am willing to pay.

That sounds like a drive failure issue ... which is not my area of expertise, though we've had that here in the studio a few times.

First, I hope you have everything backed up ... and if not, get that drive to a good technician IMMEDIATELY to get as much data off that drive as they can.
