Working on Mac, Premiere v 14.3.1
I'm working on editing down some videos but have run into audio problems the last few days. Firstly, no audio from the actual footage is being output. It works fine in quicktime, but not premiere. There are random buzzes and spikes but nothing from the footage itself. At the same time, those sounds do not correlate to the audio clips displayed on the timeline. Those audio clips though do not properly correlate to the sound that should go with the corresponding videos. I've updated premiere, uninstalled and reinstalled, started multiple different projects/timelines, deleted the media cache, and still can't resolve the issue. Thank you in advance for any help!

Try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/...
If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

please tell us your source properties and sequence settings. and by any chance are your source clips from a screen capture recording or shot on an iphone... If so, the issue is that your sources are variable frame rate. post back if that's the case, and someone (maybe me) will take pity on you and tell you how to fix it...
