I'm trying to export the wide shot of a multicam editied sequence with time code burn in.
I have a cut down multiclip sequence. In order to get original media timecode burn in I have to place a timecode effect on every single edit point in the nested media. Is there an easier way?
When I drag the time code effect over all the clips in the multicam sequence it will only give duration time code. It won't grab it from the original media of the selected camera.

I assume you're not using the beta version of Premiere, but it has a new 'Metadata & Timecode Burn-in' effect which could help you out as it has been overhauled.
Even if you don't want to use the beta on your project, you could open a copy of your project file in the beta, just so you can try the new effect and export your sequence if it works.

I'm running 15.2 which is no lionger in beta and the metadata effect isn't available. Maybe there is a new beta with the effect?

It's still only in the Public Beta version for some reason. If you install the Beta (Build 30) it should be there.
