Hey,

So I have clips with different frame rates from different cameras in a 24 FPS Sequence. Everything looks great inside PP Preview, but when I export the clip I get crazy glitching effects throughout the video in nearly all clips. What could be the issue?

Thanks!

are any of your sources from screen recordings or smartphones, then the problem is caused by variable frame rate sources.

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate

https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download

if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate

https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake

and if that's not the problem, try smart rendering

Hi, thanks for the reply, there are Canon 80D (shots are between 50 FPS and 250 FPS) and iPhone 12 Pro (incl. Slowmo which is 240 FPS or shutter not sure) clips mixed but I can see the glitching happens in both sources of footage, so that makes me think it's to do with my settings.

I know nothing about frame rate tbh, I checked YT tutorials and all I learned was to make sequences in 24 FPS since that's the "human eye" native FPS in movies etc.

If you check my links above, do you spot anything out of ordinary?

unfortunately variable frame rate footage can have all sorts of issues that are hard to predict.  Try converting with handbrake as I suggested for all iphone footage and see if that helps.    the images you've attached could show problems with interlaced video.  Fortunately I haven't had to deal with interlacing in Premiere but it can be a nightmare.   Check to see if any of your sources are interlaced.  If so, you should deinterlace them.  And that's a whole other nasty pile of whatever.

And it can't hurt to try "smart rendering"
