Exporter PRM doesn't appear in After Effects

I'm writing a custom exporter PRM plugin. The plugin loads successfully in Premiere and Media Encoder, but does not appear in the list in After Effects. I've run AE in debug mode and it is definitely loading the plugin correctly (the log also indicates this). How can I make it appear in the UI?

Premiere/AME Export plugins are not supported in AE.

To use it from AE you have to Export to AME instead of queuing in AE.
