Exporting Multiple Clips Project Manager error

Hello Community,

I wanted to report a missing functionality on Adobe Premiere Pro while using the M1 Mac mini. Trying to export multiple clips while using project manager fails everytime I have done it. Instead of multiple clips exporting individually from a selected timeline, what occurs is that it actually exports the Parent video (where the cut clips come from) instead in the Transcoded folder. Will there be a fix to this soon?

Hello,

The Project Manager suffers from some problems, but I never heard of this one. You should post a ticket here : https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro

Otherwise, there is a paying alternative with a 3rth Party plugin called "PlumePack" : with this one you should get rid of this problem. It works with more Premiere Pro items than the Project Manager (Merged Clip, AEgraphics, AEcomps) and has more features ! The main big feature is "Trimming" : it removes the frames unused (with a handle parameter you can set) but without re-encoding, so you keep the exact same quality, the same codec and metadata.

If the video is long-GOP, like H.264, this will normally occur. Most intraframe media like ProRes or Cineform will actually get you 'cuts' in your Project Manager exports.

So ... is the original media long-GOP?
