Exportproblem Encore

Explorer ,
Jan 23, 2020 Jan 23, 2020

Hallo,

Hinweis: File can not open: D:\.....\AuthorScriptHDMVSessions\Sequenz 01.mv4.__.ves" Hier ist dann Ende im Gelände !

Hermann-Josef

Encore wants the separate video and audio files. But, from Encore, just "import as timeline," and pick both the video (m4v) and audio (wav) files. It will import both.

If you add a menu to your Encore project before importing a video file, Encore will set the "title remote" for you.

Technically, this is not an error as much as a warning. But it is better to set it. Go to the Encore Flowchart and select the Disc icon. Then look at the Properties panel. Set the title remote as you wish - where will the user go when they push the top menu button.

The "file can not open" error is a problem. It starting occurring with files exported from PR in late 2016, and I could not find any difference in the exports. In any event, a fairly successful workaround was to run Encore in Win 7 compatibility mode. I have not tested to see if PR 2020 files work. Here is a thread discussing the issues:

Good evening Stan

many thanks for your advice.

Concerning the error I found a workaround by exporting the Premiere with settings according to the sequence. This was successfully imported in Encore and I could export it for a DVD and a BluRay ISO image. My main problem was the fact, that the setting for DVD or BluRay, which is done when opening a new project, cannot be change thereafter. So I have now opened two projects, one for DVD and one for BluRay, which solved the export problem.

Best wishes

Hermann-Josef

You can change DVD to Bluray in the project settings. But many of us found that there are fewer problems using separate projects.
