I have a page of text (black background) where I want to fade in each paragraph one paragraph at a time (i.e., adding each paragraph as the viewer reads it).  By the end, everything should be visible.  Please help!  Thanks, Daniel

Peru Bob's right. You can either hit the T key (Text), click or click-drag in the Program monitor, and type your text. Or just go to the Graphics workspace, Edit tab, new item/text and click.

Then format.

You can add them as separate graphics items, or as one long one using a rectangle with "mask as shape" checked and animate (keyframe) that.
