Failed to initialize Metal CC Nov. 2019

After updating Premiere Pro and upgrading a project from 13.5 to 14 - I keep getting the error "failed to initialize metal."  Timeline won't playback.  Any ideas?

Macbook Pro 2018

2.9GHz intel core i9

32G 2400MHz DDR4

Radeon Pro 560x 4GB

Can you post a screen shot of the error? Afterwards can you reboot and try again?

After some troubleshooting it would appear that FilmConvert Nitrate is the culprit.  I guess I'll have to wait for updates.

Same issue ever since upgrading to the latest.

nitrate does appear to be the culprit, and this appears to be the fix (i think...):
