Fonts not applicable

In premiere pro, the 'active' font (downloaded through the adove fonts homepage) is not applied on the screen

If you look at the last picture, you can see that the font has been added to the left font list, but the font is not applied on the screen. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ HELP

You need to highlight (red) the text first before adding the font.

I highlighted it but it doesn't work  😞

Works fine here. Might be a language issue but cannot say for sure.
